Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) is thrilled to announce the 9th edition of the highly anticipated Malaysia Business Events Week 2024 (MBEW 2024).
This landmark event will take place from 19 to 23 August at the prestigious Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (The Centre). Under the inspiring theme “B.E.A.T.S – Business Events and Technology with Sustainability,” MBEW 2024 is set to gather 300 distinguished delegates from various business events sectors.
MBEW 2024 underscores the increasing importance of blending sustainable practices with cutting-edge technology within the business events industry and beyond. The event aims to foster innovation and collaboration among industry stakeholders, exploring best practices, adopting advanced technologies, and engaging in initiatives that drive environmental and social sustainability.
The national bureau’s flagship event will be graced by the presence of YB Dato Sri Tiong King Sing, Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia. A diverse line-up of industry experts will share their insights on various topics, offering delegates a wealth of knowledge and perspectives. Innovative products and services from invited industry partners will be uncovered, helping participants develop expertise and maximise brand visibility and engagement.

This year’s event will feature a range of activities, including panel discussions, expert talks, concurrent sessions and workshops. MBEW 2024 will also see the launch of the Malaysia Business Events Standard and the appointment of new Kesatria members. In line with MyCEB’s commitment to corporate social responsibility, a local visually impaired association will provide 15-minute massages for delegates during the event, promoting wellness and supporting the visually impaired community.
Another highlight of the event will be EVENTEXPO 2024 in collaboration with Malaysian Association of Convention and Exhibition Organisers and Suppliers (MACEOS). Under the theme “Everything, Everywhere, Events!”, EVENTEXPO 2024 aims to be a one-stop marketplace showcasing the latest business events products, services, technology, trends, and insights to support industry growth.
