AKARYN Hotel Group (AHG) has opened its latest lifestyle property, The akyra Bangkok 11, a 100-room wellness-focused city hotel on Soi 11 in the heart of Sukhumvit, Bangkok. The hotel opened in mid-March 2026 and positions itself as a sleep-first urban retreat, with rates starting from THB 3,000++ per night.
The property sits on one of Bangkok’s most energetic streets, yet backs onto a quiet canal, giving it what the group describes as a rare dual character. Bumrungrad International Hospital is located next door, and the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle to both the hospital and the BTS Skytrain.
Sleep as a core service
Unlike most city hotels, The akyra Bangkok 11 treats sleep as a central offering rather than an afterthought. The property features hypoallergenic, non-carpeted rooms, circadian lighting, and a pillow menu. A dedicated Sleep Concierge experience supports guests dealing with jet lag, recovery and urban overload.
Guests can opt for a calming evening ritual that includes candle lighting, curated sleep amenities and a 30-minute foot massage. The experience is designed to feel understated rather than formal, reflecting what the hotel calls a quiet, intentional approach to hospitality.
Rooms range from Deluxe King and Twin categories, with Club upgrade and accessible options available. Rather than a traditional minibar, guests are invited to curate their own wellness minibar from nearby local favourites. Club upgrade guests receive early check-in from 10am, late check-out until 4pm, daily breakfast, a daily Wellness Minibar, priority Sleep Butler access at a preferred rate, and one complimentary evening drink per night.
E/R/N: the all-day restaurant at the heart of the hotel
The hotel’s dining concept, E/R/N (Eat, Rest, Nourish), is an all-day restaurant and café open to both guests and the local community. The 50-seat space features an open show kitchen and serves fresh, balanced food from morning coffee through to evening dining.
The menu, currently being refined with medical and wellness specialists, includes nourishing bowls, light mains, comfort classics and fresh juices. The focus is on plant-forward and recovery-friendly options, positioning E/R/N as a social hub as much as a dining destination.
Lung Ty: a gentle AI host with a local voice
Guiding the guest experience at The akyra Bangkok 11 is Lung Ty, the hotel’s AI host. Described as a calm, reassuring local presence, Lung Ty appears across key touchpoints including pre-arrival messages, in-room rituals, menus and wellness programming. The character is designed to reflect Thai warmth, humour and care while helping guests navigate the city and find moments of rest.
From the hotel’s canal-side setting, guests can explore a quieter, more local side of Bangkok through short canal journeys and neighbourhood walks. Options include travelling by boat along the klong, discovering nearby street food and hidden cafés, or venturing into the city’s cultural districts. A canal-side pool, garden, and gym with personal training access are available on-site.
Wellness programming and community events
The akyra Bangkok 11 hosts a curated calendar of wellness-led community events. A three-part workshop series titled Rewriting the Narrative, led by narrative psychologist Uttama Kirit Patel, began on 14 March 2026, exploring themes of body image, family roles and ageing through guided reflection sessions.
Longevity-focused programming with Coach Rishi covers nutrition and building muscle for healthy ageing. A growing roster of talks and workshops by nutritionists, gynaecology specialists and medical wellness practitioners is being curated by Anchalika Kijkanakorn, Founder of AKARYN Hotel Group. The programming positions the hotel as a modern urban wellbeing hub where hospitality meets holistic health.
Opening offer and Bumrungrad wellness partnership
To mark its launch, The akyra Bangkok 11 has introduced a limited-time opening offer with health-focused privileges developed in partnership with VitalLife Scientific Wellness Center at Bumrungrad International Hospital. Benefits include a THB 500 wellness voucher, preferential rates on Seven Age longevity check-ups, IV drip therapy options, and additional credits for extended stays.
The hotel’s proximity to Bumrungrad makes it a practical base for medical tourists, recovery stays and pre-travel health check-ups, as well as a natural stopover before travelling on to other AKARYN Hotel Group properties across Thailand, including the Aleenta resorts in Phuket-Phang Nga, Hua Hin-Pranburi and Chiang Mai.
“The akyra Bangkok 11 is born from the belief that even in the heart of the city, travellers deserve spaces that nurture both body and mind,” said Anchalika Kijkanakorn, Founder and Managing Director of AKARYN Hotel Group. “We designed it as a place where people can connect — with each other and with themselves — while still enjoying the pulse and possibilities of Bangkok.”
