ATM 2025 sees 104% jump in registrations compared to the same period last year, marking a major milestone for the global travel and tourism industry. With just weeks to go before Arabian Travel Market (ATM) kicks off in Dubai, organizers are preparing for record-breaking attendance figures that highlight the event’s growing international influence.
More than half of this year’s visitor registrations—52% to be exact—come from international markets. This strong global presence underscores the increasing demand for cross-border travel collaboration and business opportunities. Meanwhile, the UAE and wider GCC account for 48% of attendees, reflecting continued regional support for one of the Middle East’s premier tourism events.
Danielle Curtis, Exhibition Director ME at Arabian Travel Market, emphasized the significance of international participation: “Increased international attendance strengthens the global profile of ATM, providing a vital boost to the local economy and driving revenue in sectors such as hospitality, retail, and travel.”
The top five countries represented in this year’s registration data include the UAE, India, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the UK. India, with its booming outbound travel market and expanding aviation sector, continues to be a key driver of global travel. Egypt’s tourism revenues surpassed $15 billion in 2024, doubling over the past decade, while Saudi Arabia is emerging as a powerhouse in tourism thanks to Vision 2030 initiatives. The UK remains a pivotal player in both leisure and business travel, contributing to the event’s diverse participation base.
Held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from April 28 to May 1, ATM 2025 is expected to host over 55,000 attendees, including approximately 37,000 visitors and more than 7,000 high-value buyers. More than 2,800 companies from 161 destinations will showcase their latest offerings, from innovative technologies to immersive experiences, all under this year’s theme: “Global Travel: Developing Tomorrow’s Tourism Through Enhanced Connectivity.”
Last year’s edition saw remarkable year-on-year growth from across regions, including visitor increases from Africa (51%), Asia Pacific (53%), Europe (40%), and the Middle East (26%). Within the GCC, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait all posted impressive growth in visitor numbers, ranging from 28% to 48%.
ATM Travel Tech, one of the most dynamic segments of the event, has grown by 23% year-over-year. This dedicated space will feature the Future Stage, where leaders from companies like Booking.com, TripAdvisor, Agoda, dnata Travel Group, and Skyscanner will share insights into the latest trends in travel technology.
New this year is the Start-up and Innovation Zone, offering visitors a chance to engage with immersive VR experiences and meet emerging innovators. Companies such as Biyiy Electric Bikes, Ztexa Global, Traveln.ai, Z-Ocean Tours, and Penny Inc will present cutting-edge solutions—from eco-friendly mobility to AI-powered trip planning and virtual travel payments.
Strategic partners for ATM 2025 include Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), Emirates as the Official Airline Partner, IHG Hotels & Resorts as the Official Hotel Partner, and Al Rais Travel as the Official DMC Partner.
Arabian Travel Market is now in its 32nd year and continues to play a vital role in shaping the future of travel and tourism. As part of the broader Arabian Travel Week, the event will also host special programs such as Business Events @ATM, influencer meetups, and buyer networking forums, further reinforcing Dubai’s position as a global travel hub.
With momentum building and registrations surging, all eyes are now on Dubai as it prepares to host one of the most influential gatherings in the travel industry calendar. For professionals and companies looking to connect, innovate, and grow, ATM 2025 is set to be an unmissable event.
